GBS At Home Training:
Dance can have such a positive impact mentally as well as physically, we have felt it important to continue our training online when it has been necessary to close our classes due to Covid restrictions.
We would be grateful for any feedback you may have re our at home training, so we know how we can help should we need to teach online at any point in the future.
We are aware that we have a mix of students in class with differing levels of attendance over the past 9 months of Covid.
Whilst we encourage students to practise independently at home (using RAD dvd or app) they do need a teacher to remind them of the important aspects of technique, ensuring they continue to work safely with correct technique to protect against injury.
For this period of closure, we have provided our normal time-table of classes all by zoom for grade 1 upwards - due to the time involved in producing new videos we couldn’t offer everyone new weekly videos and a full zoom timetable.
We have offered weekly videos, not zoom, just to under-fives, pre-primary, primary.
We also offered the option of getting in touch by the Nov 3rd deadline to be put ‘on hold’ during the 4 weeks of lockdown – aimed at some of the youngest children who could find online training difficult.
If you are grade one upwards: please complete the survey below and add any comments you may wish to share.
Pre-Primary, Primary and Under-fives: we feel online videos are the best option for this age group so no need to complete this survey, but please feel welcome to leave any comments.
Many thanks from all at GBS, we hope students have found their online training helpful.
